If it can happen to an NFL offensive lineman, it can happen to you, folks.
Let me note three things that are eminently applicable here:
1. If your sweat doesn’t taste salty, you’ve been drinking too much water relative to salt. Without salt, you cannot retain water, and drinking more water isn’t going to do you very much good. Switch to Gatorade NOW.
2. If you throw up while you’re exercising or working, you just dumped a lot of fluid and electrolytes overboard. Quit what you’re doing. Don’t be macho. You’re out of shape to be doing what you’re doing, yes, but you better go get some fluids and electrolytes.
3. The best rule still is this: if you ain’t gotta pee, you ain’t drinking enough water.
