I, Uh, Slept

A fair amount, actually.

I ate Chinese, took some melatonin, shut my computer off, and got in bed last night around 7:00 p.m.

I woke up at 2:30 a.m. Mind you, that’s 7.5 hours, which is a bit more than I “normally” sleep. Not appreciably so [25% more], but hey. I went back to sleep and slept until 6:30 or so, which is why I have a headache today.

That’s okay. Better a headache than the insomnia.

Melatonin works. Heh. [Trust me, it wasn’t the need to crash. I’ve tried to crash a lot lately. Hasn’t worked. It’s like I’ve thrown myself at the ground … and missed.]


  1. Have you considered seeing a sleep disorder specialist? I know a couple of people who have seen them, and they’ve got back valuable information (one was diagnosed with narcolepsy, and is now taking medication to treat it).

  2. I’ve considered it, but I have licked these stretches before. The way I feel right now [really tired, but with the brain feeling okay] lets me know that I’m now just in sleep debt.

    I was completely out of step with time. That feeling is not knowing when day or night is. 🙂

    I now have design crap to finish for class, so I can go back to bed and get some more gooooood sleep.
