Successful Surgery

Well, I guess so. Mom had surgery today on her eye to try to restore vision in her left eye. This is the second surgery: the first attempted to [and did] correct her gross and fine motor skills in that eye and with the eyelids. This one attempted to repair some damage caused by her stroke.

Prayers, crossed fingers, etc. would be appreciated!

  1. Thanks, Jess. I just talked to Mom an hour ago … it seems to have gone fairly well. Her vision isn’t totally restored, but with this surgery, the restoration time can be up to a week or so. Even if the surgery didn’t totally correct it, the optometrist thinks that prismatic lenses can be used at this point.

Restoration of binocular vision would tickle my mother to no end.
