A Question

Is it possible to die of boredom? If so, someone call me an ambulance …

I think we have a new guy here at work. Ed walked around and introduced me to someone named Fred … that leads me to think he’s our new Experienced Engineer. We need those around here, because James is experienced but not that much and well, hell, just look at my CV, eh?

It’s days like this that make me miss having Scott around. Well, hell, I miss having Scott around most every day I’m at work. Nothing like a boss who could make working like a madman fun. My productivity has gone down significantly since he left TBE, because he could always find things that he was working on that he could pass to me in order to free himself up to do something else … and he gave me enough information to do the job I needed properly. His ability to hand out tasks and sub-tasks is something I haven’t seen in many other engineers.

I miss Scott. -sniff- If Scott was around, I wouldn’t be so flippin’ bored today … if nothing else, I could sit there and talk to him about random stuff for an hour. That used to be the best part of Fridays, talking to Scott in the afternoon when none of us wanted to do anything. We [being James and I] could learn a lot in those random-as-heck conversations.

I guess I do need to do him the favor of getting him my resume …
