Wheeeeeekend

Well, it’s time for me to shut things down and go home. I think I’m going to pick up some Chinese food tonight for dinner, because I haven’t had any in a while. [A while being maybe all of two weeks.]

I got some work-related things done today. I think I’m going to have to get a new computer [oh, darn] because I need an NT-based OS machine. If I get an NT-4 box, I am going to cry. 🙁 Finally figured out why I can’t plot to our stupid plotter … but hey. Apparently I’ve turned into manufacturing’s bitch, but hey, it pays, don’t it? [If things go south in my group, the lead manufacturing engineer will probably push to move me over there so I can schedule shop flows full-time. There are worse ways to make a living.]

I also got some work done on Perp.net, my group politics Weblog with two of my old cronies from the TOTK days, Dr. Dave Walker and Gary Gambino. I added the recent-comments script that Amy so graciously ginned up, and then I made it work in the P.n layout. Go take a gander and comment … because if you’ll start commenting, we’ll spend more time goofing off, finding things for you to comment about.

I just looked down and saw how many Weblog entries I made today. I scare myself at times. 🙂

I’m not going to do much tonight. I’m tired, and given the crap I just coughed up, I could be trying to get sick. I don’t really know. I will try to get computers working at home this weekend, because I need them to be working, but who knows if that will happen. I promise nothing. Tonight is for relaxing and not doing much, probably some reading, probably Baseball Prospectus 2002.

Later. Enjoy your weekend.
