I can be thankful even for my persistent sinus headaches. I woke up this morning at 5:21 a.m. with the left half of my sinuses filled with … glue? Lilliputians? silly putty? Anyway, almost as much pressure as Rumsfeld heading to Pakistan.
I needed to be up, though … because I don’t have PowerPoint on my laptop [I need to install it, but I couldn’t find the CD in Todd’s room last night], and because I don’t want to use my old POS machine [as I said to Indigo, “Why use a P166MMX when I have a P4-1.4 right here?”], I had to come up here to work to get stuff done. I was absolutely wiped out last night when I got home, so I got to bed at a half-decent hour and walked in the door at 6:08 a.m. here at Brown.
The amazing thing is that I’m now done with the video … 45 minutes later. I’ve gotten pretty good at this, even if I do say so myself.
Oh well, I need to go down to the supply room and replenish my floppy disk supply, copy the presentation to disk, and be on my merry way towards church. Except for being done an hour early, everything’s good. Part of me wants that hour of sleep back, but hey, even I can be thankful for that sinus headache, which woke me up when my alarm clock didn’t.
