Well, at least the local guys are being nice about being unhelpful. Turns out that I’m on a true AT&T plan rather than a SunCom one, so they have a very hard time getting access to my account to make changes. They’ve just had some personnel turnover which makes this even more fun.
What is good is that the local guys said that they could fix my phone in the meantime. I do appreciate that, so I think I’m going to slip out the door and see if they can get this thing fixed in the next 24 hours. They aren’t sure that they can get me a new phone activated this week, and after Saturday, well, it’s nearly the end of the month before I’m back in town.
