Again with the Medical Fun

I swear, I want to know why Blue Cross / Blue Shield picked 2004 to be the year to take up all the Morris family money.

It can’t be anything more malicious than that. [I don’t ascribe such things to God, myself.]

First it was my grandfather passing; then both grandmothers having hospital stays and one having some seizure-related dementia—temporary or permanent, who knows?—and now this weekend.

“Son, don’t panic, because it’s okay; I took your mother to the hospital at 0430 Saturday with chest pains. They’ve ruled out a heart attack, but they haven’t ruled in anything. They’re running a few more tests and hope to send her home today or Monday.” Yesterday didn’t happen, but we’re hopeful about today.

Screw you, BC/BS. 😉
